Folks, I John Gitahi has burned money.

Oh, and wasted time. A lot of it.

You know how?

Because of blindly pursuing change. Yeeeeeeees You heard me right.

Let me tell you a small story about myself:

First, I think I should be called John-of-all-Trades….forget Jack of all trades

Because I don’t like doing one thing for a long time, there’s nothing I’ve not tried in this world….And I’m not joking.

I’ve been a college tutor (I still teach here and there), a salesman, a digital marketer, an industrialist (story for another day !), an Accountant, an Auditor, YouTuber, Writer, Digital Marketer, and even I find myself doing HR sometimes…

Even there was a time I was an IT Technician including working as a CCTV installer…

Honestly I’ve been into so many things I cannot list them all…

Guess why?

Because I just love change…let me tell you, I find change as pleasurable as the bad manners adults do in bed mostly at the wee hours of the night (hope my Reverend won’t read this )

In short, I just enjoy the thrill of chasing anything new… especially when it comes to business.

That, despite that I have sometimes ended up opening businesses that fail miserably soon after (it’s not one or two )

All in pursuit of change….. I’m simply addicted to trying new things..

In fact, we have often quarreled with people in my house because they don’t understand why I’m always jumping here and there…

But I tell them, that’s me.

And there’s nothing you can do to change me

And guess what?

I, John Gitahi, is not stopping any time soon….

Because as I have been telling you, there’s a new kid on the block : AI (artificial intelligence)

Indeed, I feel so lucky (and excited) to live at this time when AI is just beginning to change the world.

Imagine they’re saying that the AI revolution is going to be as big as probably the telephone (the invention of the telephone changed the world forever )

Perhaps even bigger…think about how the invention of the Internet in1994 changed the way we work, live, do business and everything else.

Hear this: If you don’t believe it, AI is already taking over many white collar jobs including for writers, cashiers, Virtual Assistants, Graphic designers, Bookkeepers (in some places), even waiters (Did you read about that hotel in Nairobi where you’re served by robots?)

This is just to mention a few….it’s coming.so.fast to teaching, medicine, and God knows where else..

So I’m not going to sit and watch others grab this tech and run away with it..

Hell Nooooooooooo!

Because I find change as sweet as ……Oh, I had said it: bedminton matters (do you get me)

That’s why I’ve started @aiknowzone…here we are spending our days experimenting with AI…

We want to see how far AI will take us….be it in education, marketing, e-commerce, health, agriculture, security, etc.

And we shall be sharing it all publicly…and we will definitely come to bring you Good AI technologies wherever you’re (if you’re into business)

We also hope to teach you about AI and afterwards help you use the AI skills you learn to get a job..

Actually they say that AI won’t take your job..it’s somebody using AI that will ‘fire’ you…

Why not be the one firing (instead of getting fired?)

After all, even though my people don’t like my jumping all over the place, I’ve been lucky a few times..and landed on businesses that do well….thanks to my passion for going after change..

That’s what I’m hoping for.
